With just a short drive, you can explore the University of the South Sewanee, The Caverns, and South Cumberland State Park. Inside, our spacious home boasts a large open kitchen and dining room, a welcoming living room, and a cozy family room. With enough space for up to 10 guests, this home features 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Full, and 1 Queen sleep sofa and two full bathrooms. You'll love relaxing under the beautiful oak trees on the covered front porch, or enjoying meals and making memories on the long side deck.

PLEASE NOTE
- Guests are required to sign a rental agreement.
- Pets allowed with an additional $50 charge. If pets are not disclosed at the time of booking, any pet(s) found in or about the Rental Property will result in a Pet Fee Charge at the sole discretion of the Owner. This charge may exceed the original pet fee charge. Violation of this provision shall also be grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid.
- Early Check in/Late Check Out may be requested. There will be an additional fee of $30 for each additional hour added on.

We have a great time. We were located near so many hiking trails. The house was so clean and had a great yard for our kids to play in. We loved putting puzzles together in the kitchen and cooking meals. We look forward to staying here again.

Darling Cottage
This property was picture perfect—the cutest house in Monteagle. It was very close to Sewanee. It was so well equipped with everything one might need, even down to extra, individually wrapped toothbrushes and razors, in case those had been forgotten. The kitchen had everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms neat and clean, and all the decor was very charming.

Sam has more than all you could ever need for a very comfortable stay. Thoughtful of her to have flowers and note to congratulate Lainey on her graduation from Sewanee. As an early bird riser, 5am, I could go to separate living area, enjoy my coffee there or watch a sunrise outside. The beds are very comfortable as well as couches. This home is truly your home away from home!!!!

From the moment you pull in the driveway you can see all the attention to detail that was put into this home. Fully stocked and very inviting. You truly hate to leave this property. Friends and I stayed here for New Years weekend and had an awesome time. House was very clean and well stocked with lots of "extras". Mattresses were comfortable in all three bedrooms and couch was great for hanging out and watching football and movies. Location is close to several restaurants and many hiking trails. Samantha was friendly and very helpful and I highly recommend this property.

One family from Knoxville, the other from Birmingham. Monteagle is the perfect in between weekend destination. Hiked, toured Sewanee and thoroughly enjoyed the property. House has been redone top to bottom. There isn't a square inch that hasn't been fixed up with high-quality materials and decor. Mattresses and bedding seemed brand new and high end. Spotless. Attentive host. No issues. Everything as advertised or better. Four adults, five kids, and a dog and felt like we had plenty of room.
