"The hotel and property was very clean and well maintained. Front office staff was very nice and welcoming. Rooms were good size with a gas fireplace. Heated pool was very clean. Conveniently located to walk downtown Monterey or a short drive to Carmel. We ate in the restaurant one night and enjoyed our meals. The only thing slightly negative I can mention is that we had a ground floor room and we could hear quite clearly the people walking above us."

"The hotel felt a little older, but was excellently maintained. The staff was outstanding and focused on the guests’ positive experience. We utilized the pool, hot tub, bar including food. We were only here for one night, but would definitely stay again."
