Excellent stay; would do it again with family

Staff was friendly and helpful. Cottage was amazing and very appropriate for a 4-person family. So much better than a hotel room! My daughters did not want to leave and are already asking when we can go back. Breakfast and snacks available made the mornings and afternoon munchies very easy. Great selection of DVD's. We will be making this our annual vacation place for sure!

The grounds are beautifully decorated and inspire serenity. For the price though, the carpet was stained, the side table lamp had a terrible odor, the tiles in bathroom were coming off and the tub sealant was cracked. We did enjoy the location of our room, the fireplace, the breakfast and the service was excellent.

Loved the outdoor fireplace; even though it's public, it's built for privacy. Loved being able to walk to the main street shopping and the beach. I will stay here again.

This place deserves top marks. We stayed there three nights and were pleased with the staff, the physical condition of the buildings, the cleanliness and the price. We would definitely stay there again.

Sure place to be when going to Monterey

We love Wave Street Inn! So close to Cannery Row. The room was comfortable and clean. I usually find something wrong about a place but not here. Plenty of towels, very clean shower, comfy bedding. There’s a couple of fire pits they light on the second floor and plenty of chairs to hang out. Just so very pleased all around.*Please note: they do charge a parking fee for each day of your stay but you know what? You’d be paying to park in a garage or lot anyways. Convenient location where you can walk everywhere you want to go in Monterey. Beautiful, clean property with a superbly friendly staff. We've stayed here several times and it never disappoints!

Property was conveniently located. Clean and a beautiful room

This hotel was so cute! I loved the vibe of it. Slight view of the ocean. Very relaxing. Bathroom was upgraded and they did a fantastic job with the remodel. The only caveat is they had construction/drilling going on below me during the day. I probably just visited the wrong week. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the hotel! I found it very cozy and comfortable And perfect walking location to everything. Will definitely return!

Good location, clean rooms, good price

Stay was very good. The rooms are compact, but efficient nicely done in modern. We were there for a week for a meeting and it worked well as it was just five minutes downtown to the venue and considerably less expensive than the big hotels. Plus city parking was only nine dollars a day so that worked. The manager was most accommodating and polite. The room housekeeping is only every couple days so keep that in mind when you’re using your towels. Hang them up to dry.! I would come back again...
