"This was a very nice, clean, and well-lit inn with a charming, nostalgic feel. The room was well equipped with a kitchen and enough pans to easily prepare breakfast, and while the bed was a bit too soft for my preference, the bathroom was spotless and overall comfortable. Keep in mind there is no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage to the third floor can be a bit of a trek, but they provide coffee and delicious fresh pumpkin and blueberry loaf in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely come back again!"

"The property is easily accessible to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Most rooms have a beautiful view of the harbor and sunrise. Room was clean and enjoyed the large bathroom . Beds were comfortable but pillows were lumpy and needed replacing."

"The property was wonderful, so close to downtown. The room was clean & the staff was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. The Looking Glass restaurant was very good, especially the view & outdoor options! However, the highlight of our stay was enjoying Bill Trowell nightly at the hotel piano bar. He was fantastic!"

"We got there very late and we were able to use a code to get into the room rather than wait for the staff. The rooms are older and a little dark but very comfortable."

"Great location you can walk to the shops, restaurants and whale watching. The front desk staff is very helpful about restaurants and anything else you need in the area. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and for the most part quiet. No coffee in the room but they do have a few choices in the lobby."
