"My wife and I enjoyed our stay overall, staff very helpful providing any amenities, lovely garden patio, great location on Main St. Only real sour note was at the very end of our trip...all info says complementary breakfast provided as part of the price we paid for room but when we arrived for breakfast we were notified that we had to pay for breakfast because we went thru hotels.com...staff should have told us that..."

When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Mountain Rest?
The best time to book a B&B in Mountain Rest is during the vibrant spring months of April and May. This season attracts nature enthusiasts eager to experience the blooming wildflowers and lush landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to mid-70s Fahrenheit, the climate is pleasantly mild, making it ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and exploring the nearby waterfalls.

April, in particular, offers a peaceful atmosphere as the crowds are still light, allowing for a more intimate connection with nature. The picturesque trails of the Sumter National Forest come alive with color, providing ample opportunities for stunning photography and leisurely walks.

For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in March.
