“This is a beautifully restored old farmhouse and the host has done a remarkable job in the renovation, as well as all the amenities. The beds are comfy, it's oh so clean and inviting in every way. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I think it's important to note that the 2nd bathroom is downstairs, while the 2nd bedroom is upstairs. That made it just a little challenging for us "older" couple to make the trip downstairs twice in the night to visit the bathroom. We made it work,……

“Overall good experience.”

“I was told not to stay here, but took a chance anyways. My boyfriend and I took a weekend trip to play at the Winstar casino and decided to stay in Gainesville because it was cheaper. The room was cleaner than I expected, minus a few bugs around the room. There were small bugs that appeared on the floor as the nights went, and upon walking in the bathroom one night, there was a giant cockroach. It wasn’t too big of a deal. I don’t know that I would stay here again, but it worked on a tight……

“My stay at this Holiday Inn did not meet the standards I usually expect from an IHG property. The hotel felt cheaply managed and lacked the comfort and convenience I’ve experienced at other Holiday Inn locations. The hot water in my room did not work unless I went to the front desk and asked them to address it. There was also no coffee maker in the room, and I had to request one from the front desk, where it was handed to me in a plastic bag. Cleanliness was another major issue. The bathroom……

“A/C worked great, staff was very courteous and efficient. I was skeptical when I booked the room because it was so inexpensive compared too others in the area but I was very pleased with the room. I would definitely stay here again if the need arises. It's older butt they have done a good job of taking care of the property and providing clean up too date amenities.”
