The staff was just amazing and attentive. The bathrooms showers were relaxing and bed /bedding so comfy ! Room was spacious. Temp control was easy especially bc we needed it to be cool to escape the heat outdoors. My 11 yo daughter and I loved the snacks and refreshments in lobby 24/7. I could not have picked a better place for our 1st visit to Lisbon!!! It was just PERFECT. "

"Check in was very easy. The hotel messaged us before we arrived to see when we would be arriving and what type of beds we needed in our apartment. Front desk staff was very accommodating. They gave us a map and recommendations for restaurants near by. Our one bedroom apartment was very cute with everything we needed. There was a little noise from upstairs and the street but the bedroom was very quiet and the air conditioning was appreciated. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if we are back in Lisbon"

"Room 102 is large, spacious, and faces out toward the main street. There a floor to ceiling wardrobe with a safe for valuables, and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with toilet and bidet, however there's no lock on the bathroom door which our only gripe. It could also use a few more hooks to hang towels, but it was very clean.
Despite facing the front, the main street quieted down during the night so you shouldn't be disturbed by any noise while asleep and there are blackout curtains if you want to sleep in.
The location was right in the middle of everything with shops, convenience stores, bakeries, etc within seconds of walking. And generally in the early evening/late afternoon you can catch sidewalk performers from your view. We opened the windows to enjoy listening to the saxophone performer.
There's an ice machine on the first floor, but it's not a large dispenser, it's a personal ice machine. Doesn't seem like a lot of people know about it since it was full of ice when we needed. But a large water bottle take up most of the ice and you'd have to wait for it to make more. Also, if you need to get around further, the metro station is also seconds away. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

Our rooms were upgraded to connecting rooms on our request and the front desk manager was just too kind and amazing he got us what we requested for on no extra cost. Huge rooms. Very comfortable. Only one thing we did not like was the Breakfast which costs £28 per person and not up to the standard, on the day of our flight we had the chance to have it at the hotel and they messed our order, however after composting to the staff we were not charged for it. The customer service itself was so good that would bring us back to this hotel. For breakfast; There a little cafe 7 min walk and they serve one of the best breakfasts its called Atelier. About the hotels location; the hotel is located 8 minutes walk to the start of Avenua de Liberdade which is the highlight of Lisbon city centre a street with shopping and restaurants. It is easy to walk to the avenue and the jolt app works really well and one of the cheapest in Europe. However there are other options to stay on Liberdade avenue if you want to be right in the shopping street. We had 3 kids with us and had no issues walking or even taking a bolt taxi. A supermarket is located 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Note: there is no swimming pool at this property. Over all, we had one of the best stays at intercontinental. Service and comfort was 10/10. "
