loved Margaritaville Hotel - everything about it (except the shower which was less than powerful!). The reception associates were welcoming and helpful and contacted us at 11am to advise us our room was ready. The room was spacious, attractively decorated and had pretty much everything you need. We had to ask for shower caps, conditioner and body lotion and these were brought to our room promptly. The complimentary water in the room was a bonus. Nice pool and pool bar and the live music was fun. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Nothing unique. It was way overpriced, $350/night for a dated, very average room. In my opinion I thought it compared to $150 a night rooms that I'm used to. Very disappointed as I expected much nicer facility. LVP floors, very cold, uninviting. Curbless shower flooded the bathroom floor. Just not a high quality room.

At check in I was given the wrong room and then told it was booked wrong on my end. I showed the girl my itinerary and she said "that's funny, we have you booked differently". As if it was going to be dismissed, I wasn't laughing with her. I asked to be put in the correct room and was told no, there is nothing available. She adviced me to check back the following day before 11 AM to see if one was available. The following day I went to the front desk and asked if the correct room would be available. A different girl looked at me funny and confused. I explained the situation and showed her the itinerary. She said that one would be available soon. I let her know that we were headed to church and she said it should be ready when you get back. I asked about compensation for the inconvenience and thats was dismissed as if it was my fault for their booking error. After church I went back to see about the room. This time I spoke to a guy (a manager). He was aware of the situation and said yes, but it wasn't clean or ready yet. He then asked for my cell number so they could call me when it was ready. Half the day went by and we cancelled plans with others so we wouldn't miss our window to change rooms. Around 3:00 I called the front desk inquiring about the room. A different guy paused, thought for a fews seconds, and said yes its ready. I told him we've been waiting all day for a phone call. His response was "it's been a busy check out day". Really!?! NOT 1 SINGLE APOLOGY!!
