“I have now stayed at Altamonte Court for at least 3–4 consecutive years due to an annual event that I usually attend. The breakfast is lovely, and although the options are limited, the food is quite decent by Jamaican standards. I have had very little issue with the staff. In fact, the front desk team is among the BEST I have encountered in the hospitality industry. They are consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely willing to assist. “I stayed at Pogas Suites for 3 nights. The location is excellent - near by many attractions and restaurants. Quiet and great AC. Additionally, the view from the top floor was great! Wow This hotel isn’t much to look at from the outside but it was clean and provided everything we needed while staying in Kingston. “I booked this property and the night before I received a regret message basically telling me that the booking was cancelled for unforeseen circumstances. Then stated I would be booked to an equally "similar unit." Long story short I fail for the scam. I agreed and was booked in a place that had nets flying around, no hot water, sliding door to balcony was shattered and I was charged a cleaning fee and service fee so the cost went up $235 more! The place wasn't even clean my socks were filthy……

The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.)
