Adore this property -- my only "miss" (on me, not the property) was that I heard "breakfast included" ... and then had a small differential charge ($16 w tip) when I checked out. Turns out a CONTINENTAL breakfast was included, not any breakfast (which would have been fine by me). Absolute gem of a property, I stay here whenever the rate is within reach :)

I have been visiting here for quite some time and have stayed many times and left excellent reviews. I have even recommended it as recently as last month. I can no longer do so. I find the staff to be glum, the service to be slow to the point of impossibility. There are exceptions with some good personnel, but over all 2 stars. My other complaint was my room had scaffolding or was on the fire escape?? I had NO sunlight, was the worst room I have stayed in for quite some time. For a one night stay, no biggie, for a 4 night stay that is the 4th time I have stayed at the same hotel this year? I expect more.

This hotel blew me away! The charm of the historic building and finishings are stunning. Location is second to none, steps from Washington Square Park and in the middle of both east and west village. Staff was lovely and helpful. Room was cozy. Bathroom is gorgeous ! Highly highly recommend. Book this hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Parking was across the street and made easy for checkin and check out. The drinks and food match the quality of the surrounding restaurants and it was delicious.

Small, boutique feel in Greenwich Village, very close to Washington Square, good restaurants and night life. The Staff were all very helpful and friendly at front desk with sorting out a booking issue for me and then arranged a booking at a great steak restaurant nearby which we’d struggled to book. If room size is important then it’s the only downside but if small, cosy, clean, cute and great staff attitude is your thing then look no further.
