“This cabin was great! There were seven of us that stayed there with plenty of room! We loved the location of the hotel because we were a quick drive away from Homer! The pictures do not do this place justice!! Highly recommend!”

“I have been going to Anchor River for many years and welcome Angry Salmon Restaurant which has recently opened in the old location of the famous Anchor River Inn. They have also opened and remodeled the motel units across the street. So if you need comfortable accommodation near the River and Homer for a very reasonable price. Check out this place. Also, try the excellent meals at the best Restaurant in the area.”

“We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. ”

“The property was perfect, could have easily accommodated 2 more people. Every detail was well thought out, kitchen was fully stocked down to dishwashing soap and sponge, what more could you ask for. HEATED also. AWESOME, would definitely recommend. ”

“Gary and Teresa were waiting at the gate with smiles and a great Alaska welcome. The cabin was filled with nick knacks that gave it a real homie feeling. I had access to the garden which gave me fresh lettuce everyday. Oh by the way I hope your guys tomatoes got ripe. I would come back again, and would recommend it to family and friends. ”
