“I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. “Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard. “We stayed for Merrie Monarch and Craft Fair. The home is beautiful. The owners rebuilt from the original home and have added many of their own oersonal touches. The owners live on the first floor. We had the whole second floor, and some other families rented the third floor. There is a full sized kitchen on each floor. Washing machine and dryer are included. The owners have cows, goats, and lambs...and dogs and cats.The view of the farm and Hilo bay cannot be beat. Watching the sunrise every……
