“Great hotel. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything in good working order.”

“Dated property but very nicely maintained. A bit chilly and windy, so no fire by the lake and no outdoor pool during the length of our stay. Simple breakfast with at least muffins, yogurt, coffee, OJ and apples. Water pressure and temperature were outstanding. Bed comfortable. Room size could have been a bit larger. A room darkening shade would have been nice; room was brighter at night than wanted. Flatscreen TV was excellent. Larger refrigerator with accommodating freezer was a welcome……

“First, the good: location and front desk staff. Second, the average: room quality and cleanliness. Third, the poor: the walls between rooms are thin, so when the man in the room next to us was yelling obscenities at a woman in the same room and she was screaming back at him, it was like we were in the room with them. I was worried about violence so I reached out to the front desk who told me she was a “regular”. After nearly an hour, by 10pm, their yelling stopped. Still, it was disconcerting……

“It had a fire pit and a place for grilling, and a hot tub outside. The pool was outdoor and it was too cool to use it. Beautiful landscaping. It was a place to chill. It was a convenient location- a short drive to Sister Bay.”

“The hotel is in a great location, the parking lot sufficient, and the cost of the rental attractive, unlike too many of other local accommodations. There was no breakfast of any sort offered, but that certainly has something to do with the more reasonable cost. The in-room coffee offering could have been better. Coffee pods were provided, but only powdered creamer and sweetener. Would we stay again? Absolutely!”

“Sept 24-25: Within an hour of checking into the room, spotted a Sizable Adult Bedbug crawling along the doorframe. Presented the dead carcass to the front deskman (who didn’t appear surprised by this as if common occurrence) and requested to have our stay refunded. Deskman obliged and printed receipt but refund amount (~$290) didn’t equate the amount paid ($314)- assumed the difference was Expedia’s service fee and would address later. Slept in my car in the parking lot for the remainder of the……

“This is a great place to stay being right on the water. Staff was very friendly, place could use some updates and the beach front needs some help but overall I enjoyed my stay here and will come back in the future.”
