“It is a quaint, antique hotel, right in the middle of Main Street. A wonderful town with so much to offer in addition to this beautiful hotel: O’Malleys, Pirtle’s Winery, Avalon Cafe, Weston Roastery, Hollady Distillery, Weston Tobacco, Beers to You, and so much more! The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is that they need to figure out their payment system for the bar area and the restaurant/cafe area: there seemed to be some confusion as to where to order a drink, who to pay, etc. It……

“One of the ladies at the front desk wasn’t so helpful, but it was a gentleman and also the manager there that were amazing and I really appreciate them only negative there was like a dirt stain on the sheets forgot to bring it to their attention. My overall, it was pretty good.”

“The property was very nice and welcoming. When we walked in, everything smelled clean and fresh with no odors throughout the hotel. Our room was comfortable, and the TV worked well, although I wish there were more local news channels available so guests could stay updated on what’s happening around Kansas City. “The entire staff was so nice. Ms T and Brooke were super friendly abd talkative. The front desk lady was very nice as well. The rooms were comfy, clean, and very dark when the blackout shades were drawn. The lobby has tea and lemon water, coffee and mints on hand. The place is small and homey. Breakfast was good Parking is easy. Location is great. I would 100% stay here again. I have nothing bad to say. All places should have a staff as nice as this one does.”

“The accessible bathroom had some issues. The bathroom sink was partially clogged, the shower allowed water to flood the bathroom floor, and the shower caused the shower curtain to intrude into the shower space to the extent that it was not usable.”
