“Cool place, beautiful inside”

“Pet friendly- The cabin was very clean, new or newly remodeled. The cabin had a lot of steps but the steps were very safe, the owner had special lights put on the steps for they would be safe at night. A small porch was so cute at the front door it was equipped with a table to look out at the water. The cabin was equipped with supplies and they left candy and a gum ball machine. The beds slept good, the showers were wonderful. We had no complaints at all, we would suggest this location. It was……

“My reservation was purportedly for the "Quaint, Lakeside Hotel". After spending 30 minutes covering the small city I came to the conclusion that NO SUCH place in Everglades City. The rooms were, in fact at the Captain's Table and check-in was at the Ivy House (their people were extremely helpful). The room as modest and the balcony a nice amenity, if only the outside light worked. It was OK for a one-night stay but I would not want to spend too many nights there. The price was high for the……

“Greta location”

“Recently renovated, not very warm hot water, thin walls, needs screens, no wifi, limited tv channels, killed 3 roaches.”

“The name was different so made it very hard to find. Also could not check in here there is nobody at front desk. I had to drive across town to a different hotel to check in. Overall a very poor experience. ”
