Oelwein Vacations from $663

I had called a couple weeks before our arrival to get an early check-in. I was told the earliest we could check-in without having to pay a fee was 2:00. When we arrived we were told that there were no early check ins for today. I explained and the lady working was awesome! I’m sorry I don’t recall her name. But she was able to change things around and get us the early check in. The hotel is old but so amazing! Reminded us of Harry Potter. It takes you back in time when life was SO much easier. Loved the cocktail bar at the restaurant that served any kind of special cocktail you’d like. An added bonus is you get 2, $10.00 drink vouchers. The breakfast was super. Homemade cinnamon rolls and scones from a local bakery. Hotel located close to great places to eat and a neat brewery on the corner across the street. We would definitely stay here again .

To our surprise parking was across the street, and we had to pay. The hotel was very strange but clean rooms and comfy beds.

Jennifer and Wendy at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was also delicious!

My room smelled liked old cigarette smoke.
