We enjoyed our stay, and the cabin was very nice.We could have had less rain, but other than that, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet!

Oelwein really has nothing to do. There were no stores other than Dollar General and Dollar tree and KMart and Shopko have gone out of business. There is an Italian restaurant that we have been to in the past, it was below par this visit (Leo's)
It was affordable.
It was convenient for visiting the reunion at Fayette--Upper Iowa University.
