“What a lovely place to stay. Friendly, accommodating, quiet, comfortable is only the start of the experience. Definitely book for the dinner which is excellent and served in the small but intimate restaurant. Breakfast - really good with locally supplied produce - doesn't get much better. We stayed in the Bothy which was very big and even had a little kitchenette. “The Wellington Heifer was a great choice for our overnight stop. The welcome was warm and relaxed, the room large, clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. The meal on the evening was of a very high standard, but accordingly priced. You get what you pay for, after all. The breakfast in the morning was promptly served and, again, of a high standard. The check out was as simple as handing the key to the bar staff. Well done to all at the Wellington Heifer for making our stay very enjoyable....

“We love this place. It has charging for our electric vehicle which suits us nicely. The staff are exceedingly helpful; the rooms well appointed with lovely soft pillows and very clean bathrooms. We had a room with a separate lounge this time which was a treat. The restaurant is also very special and the breakfast delicious. The property is near the road so there is some traffic noise but this wasn’t significant enough to worry about, Ripon is an interesting place to walk around too so don’t miss...
