We had a lovely stay with our dogs. The staff are very friendly and nice. Our dogs were very comfortable with us in the room. The room was big and pretty.

The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were nothing but fabulous. The room was clean and well stocked, including free snacks and non alcoholic drinks in the room on arrival. Dining options at the hotel are limited and quite pricey for what they are, but the food was good. The main drawback is the location. Although super convenient (right in the Byward Market) the area surrounding the hotel - particularly going down Rideau - can be quite sketchy. Easy enoughbto navigate if one is aware of what to watch for, but not family friendly. If looking to stay with a family, go elsewhere.

Got there, was given the wrong room from what we reserved. Told them about it and they claimed to not have anymore rooms like o had reserved.. wpuld have like a call or email letting me know my room was changed before driving 4hrs. Finally after saying i wpuld cancel the reservation they all of a sudden had a room available. Also valet left my car outside in dowmtowm ottawa with the doors unlocked for 30 minutes. All in all it was a very stressful and terrible experience
