Padang Bai is a quiet little town in East Bali. There didn't seem to be a lot going on there other than diving, which is what I was there for. But it was great! Just what I was looking for. For divers: good macro diving as well as some big stuff (white tip sharks, octopus, rays, eels etc. This small bay just south of the main harbor provided a great, albeit small, beach called "white sand beach". Good snorkeling. The last warung stall had great ginger coffee!

Room was spacious. Big bed. Coffee in room was awful. Breakfast good and plenty of choice. Afternoon tea was inadequate. Great happy hour in the bar on tge beachside. Very disappointing that main pool and pool bar was closed until mid March and only children’s pool available

The pool area needs a spray as the ants crawled all over us and were nesting in the chairs. The bed was not comfortable but the room was nice. Restaurant food is limited especially for breakfast and we found a hair in our satay! Staff were excellent at both front desk and restaurant.

Good for transfers and quick reach to neighboring islands. Almost everything (apart from grocery stores and restaurants) closes at 5pm.

Nothing-we left as soon as we could attain a taxi to leave. We were abandoned in the middle of nowhere

We went snorkeling at Blue Lagoon, saw a sea snake, an eel and fish. The water was so dirty, too much trash floating around. Also we realized we were getting stung by jellyfish larvae. Had tiny blisters all over our bodies the rest of the trip. Skip.
