We enjoyed our stay, Excellent host and Excellent host. Property exceeded expectations. Loved the area the house, the fenced in front yard was excellent to walk our dogs. The pool table was a really nice thing to have to start the day and wind the day down.

Seclusion with Serenity

My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay at this property and house. The house was very clean and spacious, and the daily views were absolutely fabulous along with the sunsets that were right outside of the back door! The property is also close to several of the state parks in that area which also added to the beauty of this trip. Adam the host of the house was available by text to answer any questions we may have had during our stay. The house and location of this property exceeded our expectation.

Fritz Carlton is perfect!

My family and I stayed for a week at the Fritz Carlton and absolutely loved it! The view out the back is absolutely beautiful! The fenced in yard was perfect for our 2 dogs! The kitchen, rooms, and family room were just perfect! We loved our stay, and would definitely recommend it, and also stay again! :)

Great vacation property and area

We really enjoyed our stay here! Peaceful & quiet, great beaches, great view off the back deck. Very dog friendly, with fenced front & back yard, and dog friendly area beaches. The beds were very comfortable, like brand new. Very nice property. It really is the "Best Deal on Alligator Point"

Had a wonderful time

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks in September and had a wonderful time. House was clean and comfortable. Very quite and peaceful neighborhood. Will stay again. If you are looking for a nice day trip Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park is about 45 minutes away. We got to see all kinds of wildlife and 3 manatees on the boat trip.

Relax

The property is a place for a relaxing getaway. Enjoyed the quiet and nature, sunset are amazing. One thing that made no sense was the pool table in what should be the dining room.

Great View, Wonderful Host

We stayed 4 weeks and enjoyed every minute. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for an extended stay. Adam is a great host and always ready to answer any questions you may have. The sunsets and view of the bay was beautiful with a multitude of birds every morning. Look forward to coming back!

Beware yellow flies

View outstanding with lovely deck over looking the bay.The cottage was clean and comfortable. The draw back was these terrible biting yellow flies that were every where.

Old Time FL Paradise

Make sure you buy your groceries on the way to the house because once you are here you won't want to leave! Incredible location. Saw dolphins, white squirrels, egrets, pelicans, seagulls, jumping fish (no bears this time). Adam is a great host and super responsive. Can't wait to come back

Redfish Paradise

The Fritz Carlton was so accommodating for our little fishing vacation. It was set up so nice and extremely clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for the week. Very roomy ,didn’t feel crowded at all and pleanty parking. This was our first time to this part of Florida and we loved it! perfect place for our family vacation. My husband is an avid fisherman back home in Kentucky and his bucket list dream was to catch a redfish on a fly rod and reel and he accomplished that by catching a 26” huge redfish the third day we were there! So his dream came true. This is The perfect place to see amazing sunsets all kinds of wildlife ! while we were there we saw pleanty deer, squirrels , birds , and a couple dolphins swimming in the water behind the house and we did see a huge black bear roaming between the houses below this one on our way back from dinner one night and three wild boar pigs, which was so exciting to see. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return soon! We had an awesome time just touring the area and visiting several local antique shops and had the best seafood three nights while we were there along with great bbq from hammaknockers and Mexican food all from local restaurants. We recommend booking the Fritz Carlton for vacation that you will remember time after time! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

DISAPPOINTED with the house and owner. The home is listed as wheelchair accessible, but it has many levels and big steps inside. The kitchen section is raised up at least a foot and it has huge steps going down to the back room. It’s listed as 2 bedrooms, but the 2nd bed is in the back room with the dining room table. It has no door or privacy. You have to go through this room to go to the back porch. The tv in the bedroom was a key requirement and I asked about it before renting, but it never worked! The 2nd week we were there, we wasted a whole day waiting for the cable guy and near the end of the scheduled time window for arrival, the owner cancelled and rescheduled for another of our vacation days. This was due to his miscommunication with me. Having no tv in that bedroom was a big inconvenience and disappointing. A picture in the listing shows a dock out back, but it’s not on this property. The owner told me my husband could fish from the shore behind the house. The fishing was terrible and no fun for him. The grass flats are too close to shore for casting and the water goes out with the tides and leaves just mud. We found many spiders and earwigs. There were bugs and cobwebs in the windows and a bug was smashed on the wall in the bathroom. The house could have been cleaner. The grill on the back porch was nasty. When it rains or the sprinklers are on, water runs underneath the front door. The door is very hard to open and close. The bathroom door in the bedroom is like a ship door and the handle came flying off the first time my husband tried to close it, so wouldn’t close and would fall open. The mosquitos outside are terrible, all day long. Even on the screen porch, they come up from between the floor boards. Be warned if you rent from this owner. He was argumentative about the only two issues we brought up to him: the t.v. and I asked if he had another rental we could stay in, as we had a very hard time getting around with all the big steps. He had excuses for not speaking with me on the phone and would only text the entire 2 weeks. He will say he said something different than he texted! I’d have to tell him to read his own texts. He was so argumentative with me one afternoon, that I finally told him to quit texting me and leave me alone.

Lovely setting by the bay

We enjoyed and needed this respite from the hustle and bustle of life. The property was beautiful and such a peaceful setting overlooking the bay and the marsh. We brought our kayak and enjoyed paddling up the little inlet and out into the bay. The dog enjoyed the stay as well. The fenced in front yard was convenient. The home was comfortable and clean.

Quiet, relaxing stay!

We love Alligator Point and love staying at Fritz Carlton. The location of the house is perfect for us... away from hustle and bustle, yet within short driving distance to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Adam is the perfect host. If there is an issue, he immediately addresses it. While the house is not fancy or ornate, it is exactly what you should expect in a beach house. Perfectly furnished and a well stocked kitchen. We love it! And, will be going back soon! This was our 3rd stay with Adam as our host. We had 2 weeks reserved, but a family emergency caused us to leave 3 days early. Adam was more than understanding and offered sincere compassion for our emergency. We've stayed in VRBO properties many times and, while all our hosts have been nice, I've got to say that Adam is the best!

Nice and cozy with a beautiful view

Very nice place, the as a beach cottage type feel on the marsh overlooking the bay. Beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Very peaceful and quiet! Great get away.

Great stay

This property is exactly as advertised. It is true "old Florida". The house was spotlessly clean and larger than expected. It is set up to be comfortable and there was everything that we needed . The bed linens and towels were good quality and there were plenty of towels provided. In all, the physical set up was great. The area and the view from the back deck are beautiful and SO peaceful. Birds singing and mullet splashing in the water are the primary sounds that are heard. It is very relaxing. The host is easily available to answer questions. We are planning a return trip.
