This listing is for a condo at The Summit Beach Resort, it's located right along the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches and within walking distance to great restaurants, a golf course, and other family attractions. The Summit Beach Resort offers guests onsite amenities such as two large swimming pools, Summit Tiki Bar, Summit Market, Bikini Bob’s Restaurant, hot tubs, picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, a basketball court, three shuffleboard courts, and a fitness center. During the Summer, kids can enjoy Resort Collection’s Adventure Zone activities onsite, including fan favorite Dive-In Movies on the pool deck at dusk. Each suite is fully furnished, providing all the comforts of home. The Summit is one of the biggest resorts and offers some of the best values on the beach.

Its a beautiful resort but the pools are freezing they need heated and the beds are very hard

My friends and I had a wonderful time! It’s a perfect location that allowed us to walk anywhere. I would 100% recommend this place to a group of friends or a small family who is trying to relax for the week or weekend. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

What a vacation!

Great Location, Classic Resort

The condo was great, location and cleanliness was good. For improvement: I would like to mention that the shower drain was clogged, could have used one more trash bag, and invest in better toilet paper! Thanks for providing the stay. Recommend this place to beach goers.

The condo was beautiful, as described. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The owner was beyond friendly and wonderful to work with over a small issue we had. Would love to rent #812 if we head back to Panama City Beach. We loved everything about our stay.

clean condo with beautiful view

it’s the 8th floor, which turned out to be way better for a view of the water than the 4th floor we stayed on last time. Room was beautiful, clean, the dishwasher actually cleaned. The tvs were set up with roku that had Netflix and Disney so the kids were happy. We’ll be back next year.

The unit itself was newly updated and really nice.

The experience renting was really easy and professional. The TV situation is the only negative. There are no channels and the bedroom tv didn’t work. Besides that really pleases.

A week away - Unplug

Very nice, vent fan in bathroom is really loud. If you are sleep or watching TV it will wake you up or a need to raise the volume. View was awesome. Only one Elevator worked full time. Drinks at Bikini Bob's was watered down. Taste icy. Location close to a lot of things to do and places to eat.

Great place. Pictures are exactly like the condo looks. Everything we needed was provided. Main issue was the elevators but think that is an ongoing issue from what was said by other guests that have stayed there over and over. Its doable just frustrating. Only 1 or 2 out of 4 were working most of week. Overall great place and location. We did have an issue with cleaning crew not cleaning as well as we would like by leaving left over food & wrappers here and there and left over soap and hair in shower and also sand on furniture and floors more than expected for it to be freshly cleaned. Although it did smell very clean when we entered.

Vacation

We had a great stay! Everything is shown as you find it. Everything you need is in the room, minus a few small things like scissors, and maybe another spatula for if you're cooking more than one thing. We made do, though! The ice maker doesn't work. That definitely would have been more convenient than ice trays. They do sell ice on the property if you want. The room was clean except the coffee maker was not when we arrived, and we had to move the loveseat because we dropped something..so that needs to be moved and cleaned underneath. I would definitely stay here again. Convenient to a couple of restaurants and ice cream shops, and the property itself has lots to offer! If we return to PCB, we will definitely see if this room is available!

LOVE Summit and VRBO

We have chosen to stay at The Summit since 2007 with our children, but I have been staying with my parents and siblings since the 80’s. We absolutely love it. The outside pool area can get loud, but the condos have excellent soundproofing and the Security Guards stay on top of those wanting to party on the property after 11 p.m. Unit 812 was very clean with updated appliances and fixtures. The decor was very beachy, but not over the top like some units. The unit views right towards the end of the right side pool. Perfect for keeping an eye on children that could be swimming in either pool. There were no leaving instructions in the unit as stated in the contract, but we did what all other units have normally asked: leave towels in the bathtub, sheets and blankets in front of beds, take all trash out, load dishwasher, and clean balcony.
