“Owner very helpful and friendly. House excellent position for the town centre and parking very convenient.”

“The rooms were very clean, however we had a disabled room but only shower with no chair in for the disabled person. The staff were very helpful and did get a chair for the shower. Breakfast was well staffed and a good variety of food on offer. Excellent. Bar was well staffed and well maintained with good stock. Bit disappointed that when we paid for the car parking, we was told £8 per day, however it turned out to be £10 per day. When we booked I also booked for a evening meal, which was……

“Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay.”
