All the staff were very kind and the property was beautiful. However, the hot water wasn’t always available, and I recommend bringing mosquito repellent. The breakfast was amazing!

Absolutely loved my stay here at Suarga and it is probably one of my favourite hotels ever! Felt so welcomed by the staff right from the start and throughout my stay, the rooms were gorgeous, the pool at sunset was magical, hearing the ocean waves through the shutters, the beautiful wood floors in the rooms, seeing monkeys swinging around through the trees… it was wonderful! Would love to return again some day!

The property was nice but we had money stolen out of our room and the hotel did nothing to about it nor did they accommodate us in any way for the $200.00 USD that went missing. I wasn't very impressed with their response....but the room was nice, the views were spectacular and the hotel is centrally located to the beach and shops.

Loved it! Beautiful place, great location, but the thing that really made it exceptional was the staff! Super friendly, they all address you with greetings (from the receptionist to the handyman), some even address you with your name.

This place is pure magic. My husband and I booked and ocean villa and it did not disappoint. Walking distance to Padang Padang beach and some great places to eat. The staff is really helpful and the view can’t be beat. This is the place to stay

This property is a dream! Beautiful ocean views from the two pools of the property. Staff and service was outstanding they go up and beyond to make sure you have the best stay. Be advised that the rooms have no TVs and AC is only in the actual bed but that’s the beauty of this property to be able to disconnect from the outside world. Highly recommend!

Perfect views and lovely staff

The hotel is beautiful and you really can't beat the views from the pool and restaurant area. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The location is ok, possible to walk to a few places but towards the other direction there are no sidewalks at all so really need to have a scooter or get a taxi. The restaurant at the hotel is only ok, quite over priced though and the breakfast was so average that we ended up not bothering and just went elsewhere for nice coffee and food.

Suarga has the best view - unbelievable layout! You can spend the entire day on the pool decks with all the great seating and menu options- you never have to leave, nor do you want to. I extended my stay, but I had to switch rooms- unique rooms, so much character, thoughtful design. Food was really good: healthy mix salad and satay was my go to lunch; everything was good, breakfast assortment too. Deep tissue massage and scrub were amazing (Marta) & they take place overlooking the water! Monkeys are around so keep track of your belongings. Will be recommending to friends and family for sure!

We stayed in the Wantilan Deluxe Suite with ocean view and highly recommend this room. The view from our room and overall resort is amazing and worth the price. Rooms are comfortable. Staff are friendly. Pools are pleasant and place is very clean. Location is perfect- being able to walk to the beach. We would stay again next time we are in Bali. Some things to consider, but wasn’t a bit issue for us. Food and drinks are expensive on site, which is somewhat understandable due to the view. There is no TV or kettle in the room. At times, there are monkeys passing through the resort and would sometimes come on our balcony. We were just told to not leave anything outside and they were often moved along by staff.

Bad hotel

We had a bad stay. From the check-in service that was not good, they never explained how the hotel worked to us, to when we wanted to check out and there were no people at the reception at 6 am. Very uncomfortable bathroom outside the dark room. We bought a CocaCola at the bar and when it arrived a bee felt inside the glass., we asked for it to be changed and they wanted to charge us. The breakfast is terrible, they charge you separately for everything. We expected much more from the hotel. We leave with a bad feeling.

I chose Suarga Padang Padang for its beautiful design and eco-friendly ethos, and while the service from the staff was warm and responsive, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. On our very first night, we encountered a severe roach infestation in our room — we found at least 10 roaches, which was shocking and unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. We immediately contacted the front desk, and to their credit, they responded quickly and attempted to fumigate the room. However, the infestation was so extensive that it was impossible to relax or sleep that night. Despite the property’s unique appeal and the staff’s efforts, the presence of roaches completely undermined our stay. For such a premium rate, I expected a clean and restful environment — not a sleepless night and a pest problem. The only compensation offered was a couple of complimentary cocktails, which felt insufficient after such a disturbing experience. I genuinely wanted to love this place, but cleanliness is non-negotiable. Until this issue is properly addressed, I cannot recommend Suarga to other travelers.

We had an amazing stay at Suarga! Exceptional staff, incredible food, the most amazing views and unbelievable architecture. There are some small things that make the hotel not what I would label as a full five star, but the above listed things make up for it. Some notes: there is no hot water or coffee in the room and breakfast/ coffeee does not begin until 7:30am which is way too late in my book. The AC is not very cold but they did bring us a fan that helped a ton. The rooms are small without anywhere to sit besides the bed but there was room to put a small couch or chair so that would be another recommendation. Outdoor bathrooms are so gorgeous but there are monkeys so if you have to go in the middle of the night, it’s an adventure. Haha goes with the territory. All in all, the staff and property and food made it lovely and despite the things lacking with the room that we are used to at a 5 star, we will stay here again!

1) Wildlife: Expect bugs and animals, as the hotel is in a natural habitat with monkeys, ants, and other insects. However, the rooms are well-maintained, cleaned twice daily, and sprayed with eco-friendly repellent. During breakfast, ants can swarm tables and the buffet, so eat quickly. 2) Open Bathroom: The bathrooms have an open design, allowing a view of the stars while you shower. Though there’s a chance of encountering bugs, we never did. Store toiletries in the room to prevent monkeys from taking them. Lighting is dim but upon request they can install additional lights. 3) The Rooms: We stayed in the Muso Pentroom, which was well air-conditioned with comfortable beds. The room is minimalistic, without a TV or desk, so it's not ideal for remote work. 4) The Property: The pools and views are stunning, almost justifying the overall cost of SGD 2,000 for 6 nights. 5) **Food:** Generally overpriced, but there are multiple dining options nearby. Verdict: 7.5/10 - it is at the end of the day an eco-friendly resort so don’t expect to be pampered. It’s a bit pricier than some of the hotels I’ve stayed at around the world BUT the pool and the view made up for it.

Indonesia is very hot and humid. We stayed in a villa down near the bottom pool. Sleeping was comfortable in the airconditioned sleeping pod however in the bathroom is is hard to feel comfortable as the heat is overwhelming and I come from Brisbane Australia - known for it's humidity. Further there is electrical plug in the bathroom so you cannot dry or style hair. Then no mirror near electical switch in sleeping pod or bedroom area. There is also no where to sit in the room so you need to sit outside. The lighting is very romantic however impossible if you want to apply make up.

Apenas os quartos da área Este são menos silenciosos e os mais em conta em questão de diária. No café da manhã tem que chegar cedo até no máximo 07:45 para poder ser melhor atendido. Não tem aquela fartura que vemos nos breakfast no Brasil, mas tem o suficiente. Não tem máquina de café a disposição dos hóspedes. Tem que pedir.

We stayed in the Villa. Overall experience was great except I could not believe that when we requested a bucket of ice. They make you pay for a bucket of ice??? We spent $3000 in a villa, and they charged for ice. Unheard of! Also, the food in the restaurant is okay! Better off eating outside of the resort.
