“Had a great stay! Would definitely stay there again!”

“One night stay at this lovely property. Excellent riverfront location with walking path and views. Good food and service in restaurant. Restaurant does need some warming up both aesthetically and literally. Chilly in there for breakfast on a chilly morning. Our room was spacious and clean and on the ground floor near pool. Loud guests in pool area late night after pool was supposedly closed. Used white noise on phone to drown them out. We would stay here again but probably request a room away……

“We had such a great stay at Hampton Inn In Pendleton! The room was spacious, decorated nice, clean and set up to enjoy and relax in comfort! The continental breakfast had several choices and was set up organized and ready to serve many people at the same time. The front office staff was friendly, helpful and top notch. We hope to stay again sometime very soon! Thank-you!!”

“Wish I knew the building was under renovation? Poor running water to flush the toilet, enterance under construction, breakfast moved to fitness center. Once it’s complete, returning is possible.”

“Nice, clean, basic Hotel. Room was good for the price. Breakfast was very disappointing. Not too many choices there. Would definitely come back if looking for a budget priced room.”

“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises,……

“Very easy check-in, the gentleman at the front desk was kind and polite. The room was spacious and very clean. The property was well-kept, quiet, and very close to the river walk! I would definitely stay again.”

“Front desk clerk refused to check us in at 3:49pm, even though we were only 11 minutes early. We argued and she finally agreed. However, she had a, "printer issue," and didn't actually hand us the keys until right at check in time. I suspect the general manager has told staff they are not to check any guest in early. We often spend time in La Grande, but we will not be staying at this Best Western again. A 4:00pm check in time is ridiculous to begin with. Whatever happened to 3:00pm check……

“Clean room. Needs more for the breakfast buffet.”

“We checked in expecting 2 Queen beds but only had one room available with one bed. The shower wouldn’t drain so they switched our floors… up one floor, no elevator. Our second room …. The tub and the sink didn’t drain. At this point I’ll mention the smell of the hallways covering up some other smell. We decided to leave rather than sleep without a shower. While the staff was nice, the hotel looked like an old 1960’s motel renovated To resemble a Best Western. The staff was very nice though.”
