“In room 26, spacious family room. comfortable , clean and with 3 chairs. A huge bonus when so many rooms only have one or two. Food excellent and plentiful, both for breakfast and also a fabulous Nepalese dinner that was very reasonably priced. Staff very attentive. I will stay again.”

“This hotel has a great soul but it is a little tired. The room was great and the bathroom was ok. I spent one night here after leaving Inverness as I used it because It was only an hour drive to the Edinburgh airport (I was driving there to drop off my rental car.)
It was a 14 minute walk to downtown and I enjoyed the food at the restaurant/pub on site.”

“We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. “First off, we weren’t in the main hotel building, so I can’t comment on that other than it looked ok from reception.
We were in the row of rooms to the right of of the main entrance, along the main road. A surprisingly noisy main road. The room was spacious, but stank of wet dog. Huge need for a bit of TLC to be spent improving the rooms, beds, bedding, towels, carpet etc. Definitely not worth the money spent on one night unfortunately, but this seems to be a trend with small hotels and i do……

“What an amazing property. A real hidden gem. Property was much larger and more spacious than I expected from the listing. Social living areas downstairs were just fabulous and bedroom spaces upstairs were great. A couple of the bedrooms a bit rough round the edges however all bedrooms nice and clean. Outdoor space was great with a fire pit and outdoor furniture. The propertys location is great for peace and quiet, although there is one property next to it we never seen or heard anyone……
