"Location was great, walked to Train station, the market square, along the river. Staff very friendly and helpful. Left my stuff in the cloakroom for the day. Hotel had an old world charm, room was small, but modern and clean. Would go back."

"The room was exceptionally well maintained and updated. The staff, well if anyone says anything negative about this particular staff they would be lying, they were the most amazing group of employees we have ever had dealings with. The food was amazing, I am now hooked on Black Pudding, thank you Fonab. We did not get to use the spa or the pool, we were too busy traveling the beautiful Highland countryside. Overall, if you are looking for a beautifully maintained property, ultimate staff, gorgeous views give Fonab a look."

"Both the hotel and the staff were excellent, I particularly liked Ravi the hotel manager. My only gripe was the lack of thought for us vegans.. the menu made it feel like veganism was an afterthought and the very generous free pantry didn’t have any to offer us."
