“The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. Great breakfast, and we also had dinner. I got lovely lasagna. The breakfast room looks lovely with a lot of paintings. Books are around, and a lot of small details. “Room was clean, functional and every thing worked as should, bathroom was spotless and plenty hot water and clean towels were pure white clean. There was a communal space to sit and have food, bit disappointed bar down stairs was closed ,but not in full season so not major issue. One recommendation is to swap the wood framed bed for a divan based, Badly injured my knee stepping down into the room hitting knee on bed frame as so close to step, this could have been avoided if was a divan which……

“The property was beautiful, the location ideal for walking all over town and for nice walks in the woods, the hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and great advise as “what not to miss”. It was a wonderful breakfast with a menu to pick from the night before. It was just an overall wonderful stay and I highly recommend. They bought raspberry jam special for me after the first breakfast when I had requested it and they were out. Extremely thoughtful. Greg and Susan were ideal hosts.”

“Fabulous place in a beautiful setting. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with excellent storage and a lovely en-suite shower room. We were fortunate that the weather was good enough that the walk from the room (a Woodland lodge) to the hotel for meals was pleasant but an umbrella as provided jut in case! We enjoyed using the pool and thermal suite which was never busy. The food was excellent and there was lots of choice at……
