My recent stay at the Radisson Detroit Metro Airport was unfortunately marred by several issues. Upon arrival at 3:00 PM, I was informed by the front desk that there was no hot water, a problem that had persisted since the previous day. While I was assured that the issue would be resolved by the time I reached my room, this was not the case. This lack of hot water presented a significant inconvenience, as I had a scheduled event to attend at 4:00 PM, I had to think fast and improvise in order to make my event on time.
Upon returning to the hotel approximately four hours later, I inquired again about the hot water, and was informed that it should be available.
While hot water was indeed present, the bathtub did not drain properly. Furthermore, there were cosmetic imperfections, including the need for paint touch-ups on the cabinet. Although the bed was comfortable, other issues were noted, such as curtains that did not fully cover the window, allowing light to enter during the early morning hours.
The room offered standard amenities, including a microwave, mini-fridge, and ironing board with iron. A coffee maker was available for hot beverages, and the room itself was adequately spacious.
