Issues: WiFi didn’t work Blinking smoke detector light all night Construction right outside bedroom window Can’t even have a conversation with my bf it was so loud Bed sinks in the middle the back pain I woke up to is awful Nasty stains along the bottom of left side by window. Some of the outlets did not work Bathroom: Mirror fixture falling off wall see pic Towel rack falling off wall Soap dispenser constant leaking in shower Hair from previous guest stuck to bathroom door I have pictures I am more than happy to share There are not enough words to express how disgusting and below average these conditions were.

The only issue I had with the Sonesta was the flashing strobe light in the room, which blinked and affected my sleep. So I didn't have that good night sleep which was needed for a long drive the next day. My order at Ruth Crhis was incomplete. So the stay was alright, which made the price point to high, for the service.

experience not great. when I arrived I was told that there would be worked on on the building during the day for 2 days I was not able to stay in my room to do my work and to rest as a result of this if I would have known that work was being done I would not have made reservations here at the same time I booked because this hotel boasts having an outdoor swimming pool the swimming pool was not open for either of those days and we were charged facilities fees for facilities that we could not benefit from I have enjoyed my stays in some Royal sonestas in Puerto Rico Washington DC and New York unfortunately Philadelphia came up very very short

Sonesta was nice. Room was well appointed and decently clean. Night 1 was interrupted when the STRONG smell of marijuana started coming through the AC vent. Main focus for the hotel choice was the pool. Pool was fairly clean, but constantly cloudy… Hotel is very close to Rittenhouse Square which is nice. And over the course of a 3 night stay, housekeeping never came to the room. Not too empty trash, or swap out towels. Worst part of the stay was the parking. Sonesta does not have their own parking, but partner with a iParkit garage next door. First day we tried to retrieve our vehicle took 80 minutes! We were late to the Phillies game.

The room was generally good -- spacious, great bed, clean but there were a number of maintenance issues (safe did not work, handle fell off bathroom door) that makes you wonder if going downhill. Lobby and bar crowded and a bit dirty (they never wiped counters/table tops in cafe and a towel was on ground for days to stop a leak). Lobby "Convenience" shop self scanner never worked reliably so we abandoned our stuff. Pool was very overcrowded so we never went. The best part of staying here were dining options and central location for train station, walking to museums and parks. We were a bit disappointed and were expecting better. Will consider someplace else if we return.
