Business trip

Pros: Affordable, clean and quiet.
Cons: The hallways and my room had a odd odor. The pillows looked very fluffy, but as soon as I put my head on them they flattened down to nothing.
Location: Centrally located to the various colleges where I attend conferences. Food and shopping is not too far away.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hall, elevator and room had a stale smell. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the pillows flattened out to the point I had to roll up a towel to have any head and neck support.

Minimal

Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Cups & maybe a little sliverware. And the room could have been cleaner. The hallways look like they had not been vaccumed in a few days too.
Location: Only went to the airport and it was very convenient to it.
The staff was wonderful and at first the place looked great but then we realized we had a room with a full kitchen and not one untensil not even a plastic cup or ice bucket and couldn't get any. The floor & the shower were both dirty too. It was convenient for the airport and the front desk lady named LaRae was a sweetheart but I was suprised that you got nothing in your motel but 1 small bar of soap and a couple of towels.

Get what you pay for

Pros: The Chris the desk man, seemed over worked and no one to help him. He did his best.
Cons: Upgrades need to be followed by keeping everything clean and looking new.
Hotel has been renovated. Has a kitchen area that was clean and bathroom was clean. Chairs by counter in kitchen were gross. Made me not want to sit on the couch. Pillows were not enough, there were yellow stains. There were people permanently staying there....Not sure what was going on there. Felt like I was at a low income housing unit. Finger prints noted on doors and walls.

Newly renovated

This hotel was very clean, it had recently been remodeled. The only negative is the beds were so hard it was uncomfortable.

Nothing more than a room

Room didn't look like it had been updated in ages. Not even a clear picture on the TV. Only grab and go breakfast which is a completely different experience from other Extended Stays I have visited. No vending machines, no pantry or anything to purchase Tylenol or other basics that you sometimes need when staying somewhere.

Extended stay in Tempe

I enjoyed staying in this type of hotwl n so much more than a regular 1 roomed hotel room. It was more like a mini apartment. The only thing I wish they did was have a coffee maker ,utensils & plates in the room without having to ask for them.

Just remodeled

Pros: Very clean hotel, room and breakfast bar were great
Cons: nothing, great deal for the money
Location: great location, just far enough away from airport that you don't hear the planes
Im very picky, The hotel was just remodeled and every thing was great, about 10 minutes from the airport

We checked in a little after 11pm. The lobby was secure and I had to be let in by another guest who was also checking in. The lady who checked us in thought there wasn't a reservation for us and started to make one. I let her know we should have one made already, I made it and paid for it online. She was able to locate it but it did take longer than necessary to check in. She neglected to tell me the process of checking i, she too my ID and credit card, swiped my card twice, sramped there reg. card and told me to sign and initial. Well there was 3 pages. And I wasn't sure what to do with the hehe other W and she didn't explain so I just read them and put N/A on them and gave them back to her. I didn't feel welcome nor was she hospitable.
