"The location was incredible and the staff were friendly and incredibly accomodating. A chair in my room needed to be replaced and the TV was not fully installed yet, but neither of those things detracted from the experience in any meaningful way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Placencia."

The plates weren't clean, too few spoons, no cozy seating area on the terrace, small chairs at the bar, no lighter for the gas heater, the mosquito net was not everywhere closed, so we had on one day a huge amount of animals in the cottage. "This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!"
