“We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”

“The on-site staff were wonderful. But the room was not ready at check in time. It smelled like dogs. There was black mold on the bed. Super loud traffic noise all night. ”

“Best views. Excellent staff and clean room. Although property is a bit far and on a rocky road but when you reach there the views just take your breath away. Awesome experience. We could have stayed there for ever.”

“The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one……

“Place was very nice and well located. 10 min walk to the Ballena National Park entrance. It was very warm and no fan strong enough to keep windows opened so we had to use air conditioning and leave curtains closed. So we did no feel like staying very long inside. No private exterior area to
Relax but there was a great common area with deep pool ! I do recommand if the only thing you need is sleep and shower. ”
