"This is a gem of a hotel, if you’re in Toronto stay here! Why? It’s a historic boutique hotel, and hats off to the new owners for really leaning into the history, they’ve brought it back to its original glory and way beyond, and have put some great old photos and history of it on the walls etc They also did a great bar and restaurant in the lobby. And note that the breakfast is not just a buffet, it’s a full sit down restaurant with full menu! Thanks for a great stay!"

"There is no human contact. You get a code.. you go to door beside an A&W. You go up some stairs and enter the room with a second code. Its very basic, but given the price in downtown Toronto, it was a good place to crash. Clean and tidy. If you know the neighbourhood, you hear the locals all night and there are some pretty colourful characters on the street. Room was small, so one person fine, two people.. probably cramped. Not sure I would feel extremely safe if I was a single young lady. "

"The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The biggest issue was how poorly sound insulated the room was. The street noise was unusually loud, to where it felt like a window was open. It woke us up earlier than I would have liked."
