"We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room.
Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful.
The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour.
The apartment was spacious with very comfortable furniture. "

Interesting mix of guests, young / old, Mexicans / Non-Mex variety, always had a good talk. For Golf courses you will need to drive approx 45-60 min, but the courses are very nice. There is a Scuba shop on-site, dive site in general are good and Dive Masters / Instructors very knowlegable."

"Casa Gratitud was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous home overlooking the bay. The home was clean and well appointed with most everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weeklong stay. Do be warned that there are 200 stairs from the trail to the house. We enjoyed the daily workout and the view is worth it!Make sure that the water taxi drops you off at the correct pier when you arrive as there are two in the town. We didn’t know and arrived to the wrong one. Yelapa is a charming town that is a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Everyone was so friendly and the fresh shrimp ceviche, guacamole, and groceries awaiting us at the house were a huge hit! Thank you Yanet!"

"We loved the patio. Perfect place to do yoga, watch birds and the sunrise hits the patio directly which is amazing in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the host(s) are very responsive. The house is up on the hill, but it only takes 5-10 minutes to walk into town. Yelapa has lots going on at night and can be loud, we found the location of this house to be located perfectly as it is close to town but far enough away that you're not surrounded by it. We would definitely stay again!"

" The house is at the top of a hill. Clean and comfortable beds. There is an apartment above, so it is easy to hear movements and doors. On top of that is a deck with chairs and a table where you can watch whales. You also have a view over the beach. People are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants have great food. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. "
