“Wonderful place on the St Clair river, boardwalk. Rooms were decorated very nicely, had a nice nights sleep after sitting on the patio in the evening watching the ships. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Floors were clean but I don’t walk on hotel carpet while barefooted & this was no different. Upholstered chair in room was worn & dirty. Sink & mirror borders were scraped & finish was worn off.”

“The Quality Inn at Port Huron was terrible. The property was not maintained. Weeds everywhere. When I went to check in there was a motorbike inside in the front door. I could barely get in. No one was a the front desk. The desk clerk came in from outside smelling of weed. Checked me in. We were in a hurry because we were attending a wedding. When we arrived back later in the evening our room smelled of stale smoke. Cigarette butts were on the floor. We always request a non smoking……

“The check-in process is very combursome and confusing. The lockbox next to the fire extinguisher doesn't make sense when there are multiple fire extinguishers on site. If you advertise a sofa sleeper it should be made up or at the very least there should be sheets, pillows and blankets inside the unit. Fortunately, the Days in Staff was very helpful. ”

“Fully equipped kitchen, lots of sleeping space, spotlessly clean, and the location—right on the river! The freighters never stopped coming and were so close you could practically touch them!!”

“its a great historic house with a large living space. Everything is updated. walking distance to downtown and the river. We were in town for a funeral and visiting relatives so we only used the house for sleeping, showering and getting dressed. the house was clean and well stocked with towels and everything we needed. I would stay there again.”

“All was well. This was the second time we stayed here. I wish that they would return the queen sized bed instead of twin beds in the primary bedroom ”

“Room was full of spiders and had ants colonized in the bathroom but otherwise pretty decent.”
