“At the front desk they had a posted policy about quiet time beginning at 10:00 PM. Despite that, the person in the next room had his TV on so loud that if felt as though he was in our room with us. This went on all night. Additionally, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was in pain no matter which way I turned. Between these two things, I was unable to sleep last night.”

“Breakfast was the only thing remotely acceptable about this hotel. Other than that, the entire place felt dirty, rundown, and poorly maintained. The pool area looked like it hadn’t been cared for in years, rust everywhere, filthy water, and ceiling tiles literally falling down. Not exactly somewhere you want your family swimming. Our room was no better. There was no TV remote when we arrived, and the replacement they gave us didn’t even work. We turned the AC on and part of the unit practically……

“Rooms were lovely and fresh....newly remodeled . Issue with tiny ants in bathroom on floor Tea towel would have been nice Mats a doors due to snowy boots No sheets if you were to use couch Bedroom TV didn't work....wasn't connected Bed so compfy .Area safe and quiet Area ”

“This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell……

“I booked the place specifically for the hot tub, but the water temp was never able to get above body temp. Also, when interacting with the owner, most of the messages were AI. Professionally, I work in tech, but in renting a house for the weekend, I don't want to talk with an AI bot. I'd rather talk with a real person. ”

“its a great historic house with a large living space. Everything is updated. walking distance to downtown and the river. We were in town for a funeral and visiting relatives so we only used the house for sleeping, showering and getting dressed. the house was clean and well stocked with towels and everything we needed. I would stay there again.”
