“Great location with on site free parking to get straight into Salisbury but also fabulous for visiting the beautiful Cathedral which our room had a view of as well as great included breakfast. “The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests:

“This is a very charming space tailored to providing a quiet, cosy and comfortable stay. Steeped in history, this manor transports you back in time. The manor is in a good location, quiet & beatutiful, you can walk to most of the scenic spots in Winchester.
