“A charity runs this guest house, and we loved that it was also a Memorial Holiday Centre and a great tribute to all who fought in the two great wars and subsequent conflicts, encompassing all service personnel. The Guest House is a grand old property, and further upgrades are in the pipeline after this holiday season to expand the property. We really enjoyed our short stay, and the views from the property are spectacular. Well worth booking.”

“Didn't have breakfast but the carvery in the evening was very good value for money and was nice and hot, unlike some other carvery's I could mention, parking was easy as you registered your car on arrival, would recommend staying for short breaks ”

“We got upgraded to a studio apartment as needed a ground floor for disability. Bar man was very helpful and showed us the key codes etc. very appreciative for upgrading. Thank you Wolf Inn for a great night stay . ”

“Staff were excellent and friendly. Pub was welcoming and inviting. Breakfast cooked to order and very nice. Now for the room. No5 a bit dated but spacious. Bed was very firm but could feel every spring in the mattress. Shower pressure abysmal and scalding to start. Had to use a lot of force just to get the dial round to get the cold water flowing and still low pressure. Some say adds character, I’d say it lacked comfort. ”

Friendly and attentive staff (each and every person we met across all areas had a very high standard of service) - super welcoming to dogs - tasty, quality food and drink (including a great quality, extensive breakfast offer) - bar with a nice vibe - beautiful grounds - excellent facilities. Room was clean and had good amenities. Excellent parking (with charging points). We will return!”

“Clean room, just needed the shower updating as it leaked badly over the bath through the shower screen and on to the floor (room 116). Really lovely position overlooking the beach. We stayed for one night and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, which was made even better by the helpful and friendly staff. My husband is a celiac and required gluten free food. They sorted everything for him and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back! Thank you ☺️”
