The Garland grand Rio was very quaint.It was well centrally located between shops and restaurants. So many things were in walking distance.The breakfasts were wonderful.The ambiance very comfortable , the amenities were remarkable

So cute and relaxing right by the river. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. We loved the cats. It’s not a luxury resort but it’s unique, quaint, well maintained and definitely worth it for the price. Would recommend!!

Hotel is in a good location of Zona Romantica, and overs the lovely River Cuale making it nice to be out on the patio. It is very walkable area for shopping and close to the flea market, not far from the beach at all. I upgraded to the Marquessa Suite and really enjoyed it. (large room w/ private patio). The king bed was comfortable and the included breakfast gave several options. I tried several different items for breakfast and they were all good. Only downside was the lack of hot water - cold to barely lukewarm for a shower. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

It's such a cute boutique. I wish I had more time there. They had a full breakfast, room was clean and comfortable. Bed was good as well. They are currently doing construction on one side and it ended at 6:00pm the day I was there, all in all a good experience and the staff is nice and welcoming. Ohhh, and the welcome Margarita is absolutely delicious.

3rd visit to Garlands. This visit I stayed in a Studio King near the pool. It was perfect for a solo traveler. The staff as always was top notch. I had a few sick days and Iván was kind enough to make me some special tea. Thank you Ivan!!! Along with Rivera and Quinta Maria the other properties under same ownership you are treated like family. I’ll be back soon!

Very cute boutique hotel. Super friendly staff, great location and relaxing pool. The welcome margaritas were delicious and the hotel is close to everything g in the romantic zone. Look forward to staying there again. The staff Martha, Rigo and Ivan were so friendly and made sure your stay was comfortable!

The check in was smooth with a complementary drink. The staff was attentive and the host, Martha Nunez, will go out of her way to make you comfortable. This is a diamond in the rough type of hotel in that they could have charged much more then what I paid. The building took me back to Spain and my room, Antonio, had a great view of the river. It’s a 5 star hotel with 3 star prices centrally located near the the ocean. Definitely will be back and ask for the same room. I highly recommend staying there and breakfast was along the river. A must hotel on your list!
