“As a business traveler, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed, even though I did not get time to use the gym and pool. It is well-located (across the street from the beach) so that you can walk to the boardwalk and some really good restaurants (Big up Salt Cafe for crusted fish, Tapas for the view, Coco's breakfast if you want to feel like you are on vacation) or towards Bridgetown - 2.5 kms - if you are not easily frightened by cars zipping by while sidewalks disappear and reappear.……

“Sugarbay Barbados was an excellent all inclusive resort. As someone who travels frequently and has been to multiple all inclusive resorts, this one stands out. The service was excellent, the rooms were exceptional and the food was phenomenal. Most all inclusive resorts don’t have the best food, this resort blew us away with the food. The location was great, close to all the main attractions. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to recommend this resort and location to our friends and family.”

“Great hotel would highly recommend it out of five stars. It gets 4 1/2 because it has two elevators but only one was working the whole time we were here, good thing it wasn’t crowded so you’re not waiting for the elevators. The other downside is they had only one restaurant for Saturday night makes no sense. How do you have a Saturday night and you only have one restaurant for the whole resort again they did well crowd control wise, but it’s a Saturday night. It should not be only one……

“The location and amenities of the Plum Tree make this place a special and amazing place to experience Barbados. I love the location and I love the homey feel of the units. I have stayed there several times and have recommended it to others. I feel peaceful there. The pool area is wonderful.”

“First the good… The properly is right off the beach which was lovely and the staff was kind and very professional. The staff helped make our trip a four star rather than a three star experience. Now the not so good… The food was just ok. There was also no food for snacking available in between scheduled mealtimes. And, the unacceptable.., During our stay we had a fire alarm go off at 4 am two nights in a row which immediately woke us up out of our sleep. The alarms lasted a few minutes……

The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. There was a good variety of food options, and everything we tried was enjoyable. The spa was a highlight, truly a great experience and perfect for unwinding. We also appreciated the strong and reliable WiFi coverage throughout the property. The staff were friendly and helpful across the board,……
