“Super week”

“We had a wonderful time in Charlottesville! This Vrbo was the perfect option to serve as our home base while exploring the area. Well appointed and great communication from the owner; we had everything we needed. ”

“We loved the property. The first condo they gave us had a window stuck open. It was 27 degrees outside so we called and returned to the check in, where we were given a new condo key. Easy time fixing the situation. The condo was very clean and had extra blankets and pillows for everyone. The kitchen was stocked with basics for cooking, extra trash bags, and soap for the sink and dishwasher. We were close to all the amenities at Massanutten, and had a great time. We would definitely stay……

“This property is great! So clean, cute, cozy! When we arrived & looked around I literally said “I can’t wait to give them a perfect review” (I don’t typically leave reviews). They left a bottle of complimentary wine, stocked the fridge with bottled water, & had everything right there you would possibly need for a short stay. After looking around, we noticed it was a bit stuffy so decided to turn on the air conditioning which appeared to be individual wall units in the living space & one in the……

“This was my home for 18 months. Very comfortable. Appointed with all you need for short term or long term visit. Terrific neighborhood. Model host who is very responsive.”

“The property is very unique. It is off of a dirt road and I would suggest initially getting there while there is daylight. There are multiple steps to this room (located in the Castle building of the property), therefore it is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. The dipping pool was not filled at the time of our stay. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the shower temperature and pressure were a bit difficult to regulate but it seems the tub is better……

“The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a couple more towels and washcloths in the room.”

“The lodging was good other than a few items. Check in is late at 5pm. I originally thought it was 4pm which seems late still. There was very little hot water. We were assigned a room on the bottom floor and the family with young kids above us were jumping around early in the morning. I’m not sure how to pick a top floor but that would have been better. Nice area though”

“We are owners at Massanutten and have been for 30+ years. We would have normally banked our week or bought ahead but with Covid this year nothing seems to be the same. It was very late on the year and my family and I just wanted to get a way for a few days and thought to use VRBO. We booked a condo and it turned out to be in the Sumit area. The condo was recently renovated, very clean and nice views. The only thing we did not know from booking beyond which condo was that we were booked……
