"Simply outstanding from start to finish. Great facilities. Wonderful staff who go above and beyond. Sadly I do not play tennis but it was wonderful to see all the well motivated youngsters and adults playing and training. It provides an infectious spirit of fitness. The gym was the best one I have ever been in. Treadmills were fab. Spa was amazing. Lovely lomi lomi massage. Ham man pools, Turkish steam room and sauna. Property kept exceptionally clean. Place is of course a business and a very well run business but it has a cosy familial feel, motivated to give the guests the best experience rather than focus on money. The food in all the restaurants is outstanding and in the buffet supper the chefs check the condition of food continually to ensure it looks the best and amply supplied. I had to check out at 11am which is reasonable, but I was allowed to use the gym and spa and restaurants. Nothing it too much trouble here. Rafa trains here when he is not on the circuit and guests can watch and occasionally interact. Sadly not during my visit. Overall, outstanding, impressive and highly polished with a huge element of kindness."

"The hotel is lovely, v.clean, rooms adequate for a 3*. There are 4 pool areas, always found sunbeds and chairs to sit on. Splash pool is great, our toddlers loved it. Kids Club looked fab 10-2 (age 4 upwards) they did lots of activities & staff energetic. All Slushies/soft & fruit juice drinks/tea coffee/ice creams all help yourself throughout the day. Alcohol all seemed ok and true to flavour. Plastic cups are provided but bring your own lidded closable cup/bottle as there are thousands of wasps around all the pool areas. We did get stung and was constantly watching out for the kids so could never enjoy a drink/ice cream without being swamped by them so be warned! Food truly was bland, there was always a dish we could eat but no real taste to it especially dinner time. Breakfast was usual fry up/cereal/cold meats/pastries/fruit etc so all good there and lunch was same as dinner (i know its a 3*) Dining room is free for all, get there early to get a table as plates are not cleared away until you leave so they pile up on your table (only 3 staff doing the clearing so you wait around to get a cleaned table). Room cleaned/towels changed everyday v.happy Evening entertainment area to small for no. of guests - variation each night Shame Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, wish i researched more, walk to town centre with buggies took its toll as pavements v.uneven. Hotel rang for Taxis took ages & v.costly. Local bus ran hourly to 6pm I would not return to this area of Mallorca."

"Our stay was fantastic, staff is so friendly and caring and the property is very beautiful and so child friendly. The breakfast was very delicious too. We tried all of the facilities including all 3 pools and the playground. Staff was always available for questions or requests and gave wonderful tips on restaurants and trips. "

"Eight of us stayed at Son Drach for a family wedding in Porto Cristo. 6 adults and 2 children. The house is large, comfortable, and very clean. Everything you need is here. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, we didn’t cook much but you certainly could do. The bedrooms are spacious, and the master has a very big en-suite with bath and shower cubicle. The pool is the pièce de résistance, large enough to do lengths, with easy to access via steps for smaller children, we absolutely loved it. Pool towels are provided. We spent long hours under the patio canopy looking over it. Superb. We found the owner to be extremely responsive, and a small issue with an iron was resolved in 10 minutes. The downstairs bedroom has bunk beds, and a double bed but unlike the 3 bedrooms upstairs, has no air con. The owner provided a mosquito net very quickly after we asked for one, we could have done with it from the start, the villa is in open countryside and the mosquitoes are viscous! One small constructive criticism, the master bedroom has a fantastic terrace over looking the pool, but it currently has no furniture so it is unusable. It would be lovely to have a settee and chairs up there We really loved Porto Cristo and Son Drach, and hope to return. Highly recommended."
