“All Hamptons have nice rooms and extras. The Seguin Hampton was exceptional. Pool was very clean and gym was in good working order. Breakfast was good. Room had a nice shower which I prefer. I don't need an accessible room yet but I hate having to step into and out of a tub. The best thing was: At check in I was NOT ASKED for an extra $50 for "incidentals" which the Hampton in Lufkin did and I have yet to get my money back.”

“Beautifully decorated. Nice and cool rooms. Spacious design. The bathrooms were excellent and water nice and hot. The only disappointments were there wasn’t an iron and no breakfast was served. However there was a wonderful cafe near by. Just a 6 min walk. It made the trip well rounded. I will most definitely tell my friends and family and will stay again! Lovely staff! Made my husband and I wedding anniversary a very relaxing and stress free experience.”

“Melrose River Club was, without question, one of the best getaway experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt intentional and thoughtfully designed to create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The adults-only environment made it feel peaceful and exclusive, while the chilled pool was an absolute dream in the Texas heat. We loved having direct river access right on the property, making it easy to spend the day floating, swimming, and enjoying the beautiful……

“Our particular room smelled like mildew and moisture. The bathroom appeared clean but the sink and shower smelled otherwise. I would not recommend staying at this location for the price.”

“Great AC, easy parking, right next to my daughter’s sorority house. Could be a little cleaner .. baseboards etc but it’s a very old place and I guess comes with the territory. ”
