If you want clear view o/beach, etc., read: Upon check-in, after reserving an oceanfront balcony room, the nice gentleman ensured my daughter & I (who were only staying overnight... with a 7:30pm check-in) that we would have oceanfront view on the balcony for our one night. I had also made asked if it was in the same building as lobby & said I can't walk far due to throwing my back out & he assured us that if we got on the elevator there in the lobby and took a right that the room was just down the hall. It wound up being WAY too far down the hallway. The balcony rails were taller than I (and I am 5'4")... I later heard fireworks, & had to raise my arm way up to video the display as it was difficult to see... I felt like I was a toddler, & I could see that their next building, which he may as well have put us in, had far more REASONABLE BALCONY RAILS... He could have mentioned the the firework display that would be going on @ the Pier at 9pm., especially being the last Summer display of the season). Learning lesson for me, I guess. I will make sure to be very very specific next time (Not likely to be at Westgate, honestly). I also decided to Uber the daughter & I a few things from Food Lion, since once we were settled & had seen the fireworks show we went down to lobby to find water near, but only saw in machine for $4/bottle. After walking through the whole 1st building, past the pool/hottub, through the arcade, etc etc (felt like forever!) to find out everything was closed.

This property was above what I had initially expected. The room was very clean, nice amenities, I will be staying here every time that I visit Myrtle Beach, SC.
