It was awful. Booked and paid for room, drove 12 hours straight just be told there were no rooms available. Despite there only being 4 cars in the parking lot. A gruff and rough employee came down to the after hours door then did not answer the calls from helpful Expedia reps. From what I could tell the lobby was not in the best condition and I’m actually happy my husband and I were relocated to a different hotel. I would not attempt to stay at this one again, no matter how low the price could be.

We had a few “hiccups”. The tv didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, and the a/c didn’t work. They promptly moved us to a new room. In the new room the tv still didn’t work. We later learned the property had a computer glitch or something that cause it to go out. Which I understand things happen but the lack of communication about that was disappointing. The building engineer was the only person on staff who wasn’t friendly. He was rude! But other than that the stay was fine. The room was clean. The front desk people were pleasant. The restaurant was cute. The food was typical hotel food with reasonable prices.

We chose this hotel so that we could use the pool and hot tub. When we went down in the evening a family was leaving and said "It's a zoo in there and I wouldn't go in if I were you!" They weren't wrong. There were unsupervised kids throwing and slapping the water with towels and having a towel fight. They were running, jumping and screaming. They said that their parents left them there and went out. You could not see the bottom of the pool or hot tub as the water was pea green. The hot tub had no heat. As we were leaving a mom with small children came out of the bathroom and said that there was feces on the floor of the bathroom. I think that the county health department should have been called. Call me "Karen" but I think the hotel has some responsibility to keep this area safe and clean.
