"This is an old hotel but very well maintained. The breakfasts are amazing. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff is SUPER friendly, this hotel is family owned and the owner bends over backwards to please his clients in every way possible. My family and friends had a great time and the train station is very near."

"Very traditional Italian seaside hotel, in a great location next to the Bay de Silencio. Very attentive service and staff, great breakfast options and generous rooms. Sestre Levante is close to the villages in Cinque Terra but has a completely different feel, more Italian tourists seem to stay here and it has great restaurant options. Of the various Ligurian seaside towns we have visited we like this place probably the best."

A nice little place in a great location! Very easy walk to the beach, trains, and into town. Room is nice enough, only had a few complaints but they wouldn’t stop me from staying again are:
-there was no actual mini fridge, just a wine fridge and nowhere to plug it in.
-construction woke us up at 7:30 one day and cleaning woke us up at 8 another day. Cleaning would also unplug the wifi to vacuum.
-first place we’ve been that you have to give the front desk your key when you leave each...

The hotel staff made us feel like we were right at home; we felt like we were staying with friends. The hotel was close to the train (which could be a bit confusing at times). We used the beach near the hotel which was wonderful after a day of touring. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful when recommending restaurants, etc. Our room was clean, beautiful, and one of the biggest rooms we've had in Europe. The bathroom was clean, beautifully tiled. Nice pillows, couch, chairs,...

I really enjoyed the stay at Hotel Miramare! Excellent and helpful staff. Very pretty and spacious lobby areas. Because we were three people they moved us for no extra charge to a huge apartment on the fourth floor that could easily sleep five! It was very nice -- I just wished that it was decorated like the other rooms, it was plain compared to them. But all in all, we loved it there and you will not be disappointed! Right on the Baia del Silenzio beach with complimentary lounge chairs and...

These suites are very nice and luxury. Check in is a block away at Miramare hotel. We walked here from train station. Breakfast was very upscale and delicious with a beautiful view of the ocean through the picture window. We loved the easy train access to Cinque Terre (without the crowds) and Portofino, Santa Margarita.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

Nice personal, get a lot of trip suggestions from them. Great location, close to train, ferry, and historical part. BTW, the town itsels is well maintained.

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

The best area to stay in Rezza is the Rezza Marina district, especially for those seeking direct access to the sea and a relaxed coastal experience.
Rezza Marina is the town's seaside hub, characterized by its promenade, a sandy beach, and the marina itself, where fishing boats and yachts are moored. Hotels here often boast sea views and are steps away from the water. The main street running parallel to the coast features a selection of restaurants specializing in fresh seafood and local Ligurian dishes.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find Rezza Marina particularly appealing. The opportunity for evening strolls along the beach, dining with sea views, and easy access to boat excursions for exploring the coastline make it an ideal setting for a memorable trip.
For families, the area around the Lungomare Colombo offers a convenient base. This stretch of the promenade is close to the beach and typically features hotels with amenities suiting children, such as swimming pools.
When is the best time to go to Rezza?
The best time to visit Rezza is during the shoulder seasons, specifically late April to early June and September to October, to enjoy pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
During these months, the temperatures are comfortable for exploring the coastal paths and hillside villages without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find that popular attractions like the hiking trails connecting the Cinque Terre villages are less congested, allowing for a more relaxed experience. This period is ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape, as the milder weather allows for leisurely strolls and al fresco dining.
For those seeking a livelier atmosphere and warm swimming conditions, July and August are also excellent, though these months see the highest number of visitors. Families often find the summer months appealing due to school holidays and the opportunity to spend more time swimming and enjoying the beaches.
