Tucked between rolling hills, this small town offers a peaceful escape with its historic downtown and Tippah County Lake fishing spots. Visitors can explore local antique shops by day and catch live bluegrass performances at community venues when evening falls.
We liked the excellent condition of the property. Everything worked and the staff was friendly.
The only thing we didn’t like was the rooms did not have refrigerators.

Luke, the proprietor, was a chef with Marriott and the breakfasts reflected his skills! The home was quiet and restful and we found ourselves wanting to spend as much time there as out in the community. The decor was faithful to the historic aspect of the home and the ambience and hospitality were first rate!

Hotel is renovating. Lobby smells like mildew & is old looking. Motel room was a delight. Bright, clean, inviting, bed very comfortable. Motel owners need to mark "EconoLodge Entrance" on wall next to their lobby door.
