"Beautiful country manor and grounds but once you turn off the main road, it’s a rough single-track road for quite a bit. Not something I would like to traverse at night driving back and forth into Portree for dinner. But, the good news is there is no need to because the food, both dinner and breakfast, are sublime. Our room on the attic level required a climb up two flights and was a bit small and Spartan but comfortable nevertheless."

"It was a clean room however the bathroom had issues with the toilet needs to be changed old too slow to fillup had plastic bottle in tank to help with filling tank !!!! "Great hotel in a gorgeous location next to Sligachan Bridge with beautiful views! The hotel has a great restaurant and bar that we really enjoyed and the food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly in the hotel and the restaurant. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Only negative is the hotel was under construction while we were there so that was a little unsightly."
