Majority of the room was clean. The pillow cases were dirty with stains and no tea was provided. The staff was friendly and with lots of parking. The room we stayed at the room key did not work.

For a family of 5, this was good for the money - the room was big enough, and the price was reasonable. One advantage of the layout (it is sort of motel-like except that the room entry doors are inside) is that you can park close to your room, which is nice. Breakfast was fine.

Simon and Miranda were excellent hosts. We saw Simon more than Miranda. Miranda made the marvelous food in the background. We had great conversations with Simon. He was amazing

Beautiful location with nice walking path, great entertainment at location bar. Rooms could’ve been cleaner, old bar of soap left in shower. Went to breakfast and staff had already cleaned the room and I hadn’t even checked out yet. Wasn’t a fan of that. Great friendly environment at bar.

Travel to Ithaca a couple times a year and usually stay in one of the chain hotels in the city. But this most recent trip, I chose this lovely inn, as all of the usual spots were either booked or were priced out of my range for the level of accommodations. And my wife and I enjoyed our time very much.. Comfortable and charming. Definitely recommend it and hope to return. The Dempsey Suite was a great choice.
