![On your future tour of Georgia you may want to stop by Berry College. Just a hour and a half away from Atlanta it's an easy way to experience the foothills of the smokies.

This is the Berry college mill. Constructed in 1930, the wooden overshot waterwheel, considered one of the largest in the world at 42 feet in diameter, was constructed by student workers. The Old Mill is operated on special occasions, such as Mountain Day. “This was a perfect spot for us while visiting our daughter who is a student at Berry College. There were five of us adults and one infant. It’s a beautiful, modern and clean space. Tennis courts if you play and nice outside area to sit. Fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill. The beds are comfortable. Check in and out was seamless and communication with host excellent. Will stay again at this spot! Big bonus for us was the Tesla charger! ”
